About Us
NILRC was founded in 1996 by a group of Land Rover enthusiasts bent on using their vehicles as they were intended to be used, and to improve their standard of driving. Over the years as membership numbers increased, and a greater selection of Land Rover equipment became available, our adventures became more wide ranging and challenging. Our various challenges led to a tight knit group of individuals who began to do many charitable events in order to help others, and were the guiding light behind the formation of NI4x4Response who remain on callout 24/7 to assist in times of bad weather or to access difficult terrain in order to assist the emergency services or British Red Cross. Some of our members have gone on to form Motorsport Recovery NI to assist at Rallies and other motoring events.
NILRC continues to grow, to assist and to guide young members. Doing for others remains high on our agenda. In doing so, and in driving quarries, greenlanes and forests, NILRC maintain the highest respect for the assorted flora and fauna to be found in these locations and strive to build a good rapport with other users and the public in general.
